Ms. Elnora Christine Taylor was an extraordinary person. She lived a life that is an example of kindness and service to others, believing that Jesus called us to love one another. Christine, affectionately known in her hometown of Gloucester, Virginia, passed on August 16, 2026 in Pompano Beach, Florida at the age of 86. She was born on September 25, 1939 in West Point, King William County, Virginia. She is the seventh child of eight children to Blanchard Dubois Olivis and Clara Bell King. 

Christine is preceded in death by her husband Rev. James William Taylor, her parents, her siblings Blanchard Olivis Jr., Hayes Olivis, Alonzo Olivis, Robert Olivis, Clara Evans, Carris Harris and son Tony Taylor. She leaves to cherish her memories sister Mary "Bea" Hopson; son Glynn Talbert; daughters Delphi Burton and Lenora Nikitin; one granddaughter, three grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
