Mrs. Florence Lee Chatman, 93, a native of Alabama and resident of Hampton, Virginia, departed this earthly life on October 10, 2026. Mrs. Chatman was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Noah Chatman, and her parents, Mr. Charles Glover and Mrs. Alice Glover. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her three daughters, Caron Paulden, Cathy Johnson, and Celest Battle.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Fellowship Church, located at 5862 Orcutt Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23605.
