Mr. Ralph Edward Ward, Jr. born on June 25, 1940 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Ralph Edward Ward, Sr. and Ethel Josephine (Wilson) Cooke, was called home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2026. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country. In 1970, Ralph began his 35-year civil service career in the Auto Craft Shop of Fort Eustis. He served as a Mechanic Instructor and took pride in mentoring others while sharing his expertise until he retired.

Ralph leaves to cherish his memories his loving children Eric R. Ward (Lynn), Donnie E. Ward (Sherrie), and Denise A. (Marlon) Coleman; devoted brother Daniel L. (Alma) Ward; ex-wife and longtime friend Ms. Barbara A. Ward; 20-year companion Aleta Phillips and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
