General Parker, III

General Parker III was born on July 19, 1949, in Windsor, North Carolina, to the late General Parker and Charlotte Etheridge. He spent his formative years in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where he received his education and later earned his barbering license from the Massachusetts School of Barbering.

General leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife Loyce; his children, Derrick, Desiree, Torri, Areem (LaTasha), Natasha, Todd, and Tisha; his brother, Ervin Parker (Louise); 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

A viewing will be held at Carter Funeral home on Saturday, April 18th 2026 @ 11:00. Service will begin at noon. Repast immediately following service at Safe Haven Empowerment Center. 429 Thorncliff Dr. Newport News, VA 23608
